B744 is a unique development that involved designing an entrepreneurial incubator for the creative community in Kuching. Situated within dilapidated, abandoned warehouses in the Bintawa Industrial Estate, the centre consists of a performing arts space, a co-working space for entrepreneurs and workshops for local textile and craft. The architects inserted containers into the existing warehouse to form spaces for meeting rooms, offices, amenities and others. A fast-track project – the construction period lasted four months to complete.
Completed in early 2017.
This project was featured in Borneo Post, dated 16 February 2017 and shortlisted for PAM Awards 2018 under Adaptive Reuse Category.
