A renovation to an existing shop house on the ground level in a bustling commercial & residential suburb, our clients approached us to design a clinic that was family-friendly, with an emphasis on a comfortable and calm environment that could help to soothe nervous patients, especially children. Design inspirations came from the dental anatomy; the curved forms of the reception and waiting area, the ‘healthy-gum’ pink paint wash for the walls, as well as the ‘floating’ ceilings that swirl around the public areas. Our scope of works included submissions for authority approvals, detail drawings for tender and construction, as well as basic lighting design.
