This housing development consists of a series of double-storey terrace and semi-detached houses in an up-and-coming residential neighbourhood. The Clients requested for a modern design that was a departure from the more conventional designs that were already present in that area. We saw this as an opportunity to fuse ideas of modern and traditional living that seeked to bridge the gaps of what people were looking for in their ideal homes. Natural light and ventilation will be prevalent in the intermediate terrace units that are normally dark in the central spaces. Each house is also fitted with aluminium-framed planter boxes on the first floor to give residents opportunities for growing plants and green walls along their facade.
